Final Paper
Each GROUP will write an 8-10-page APA paper on some a controversial topic central to ethical decision making in healthcare. The paper is on the SAME topic as the presentation. The object of this paper is for the students to probe deeper into a particular issue than we would be able to in class. The class readings should be viewed as only a jumping off point for this paper. Include a title page and reference page according to the latest edition of the APA Publication Manual.
The student will pick a topic and do the following:
Argue logically a point of view and back up your claim with citations.
Demonstrate an understanding of ethical theories in the construction of your argument where necessary to support your claim.
Demonstrate you understand complexity of the ethical issue by researching the many sides of the topic.
State clearly and succinctly your conclusion on this topic.
Use standard APA style and formatting.
