Students will research and write a thematic paper on a given topic in the book of
Daniel. A list of topics as well as the procedure for writing the paper is provided below
following the course schedule. The paper needs to have 10-12 pages (excluding cover page
and table of contents, and any bibliography pages beyond one page), must be typed, doublespaced in 12 point Times New Roman font with margins of one inch, including correctly
documented footnotes, and preceded by a cover page. It also needs to include a table of
contents and a bibliography.
Any relevant content for the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 (Christian perspective) with at least 10 bibliographic sources with at least four
commentaries on the book of Daniel, as well as relevant books and journal articles. The
Bible itself, though it should be cited in the paper, cannot be counted as one of the
sources or listed in the bibliography. Format for bibliographic
entries will follow the Turabian style of citation. There must be a table of contents, with a cover page, followd by chapter 1 (introduction) followed by chapter 2 (body of content).
This a “Studies in Daniel” class, a detailed explanation of the seventy weeks of Daniel 9, including other relevant areas of Daniel and the Bible would be amazing.
