Identify a safety issue/concern evident from any clinical setting from an assigned clinical rotation. The safety issue can be from a hospital, community or leadership setting. A safety issue/concern would be an act/ procedure/ intervention/ teaching/ etc. that is non compliant with current evidence-based practices. (For example: A new mom is being taught to place her newborn on its stomach to sleep. This does not follow current evidence-based practices of placing newborns on their back to sleep.)
Using Galileo, EBSCOhost, or Gale Virtual Reference Library find two (2) PROFESSIONAL nursing journal articles identifying the new evidence-based information supporting your claim to the safety issue. Journal articles must be within past 5 years.
Paper must be two pages in length, 12 point Font, double-spaced. In addition to the two page paper, you must include a reference page completed in APA 7th Edition. References should also be cited throughout paper using the APA format.
