In your journal entry please reflect on the following:
Unique challenges of the middle school experience.
How parents can help guide their children during these (often times) challenging years.
Explain self-efficacy and self-regulation.
Share your thoughts on how parents play an important role in helping their children develop these skills and attributes.
You can draw on your own (or other’s) experience for examples.
Reminder: DO NOT QUOTE THE BOOK AS AN “EXPLANATION” OF A TERM, OR TO
DEFINE ANYTHING. Explain things to me in your own words, and then cite
the source.
