Novels and fiction films, as part of entertainment media, play an important role as information and educational media – Maybe even more so when it comes to shaping the public culture of science. This assignment asks you to closely read H.G. Wells’ novel, The Island of Dr. Moreau (1896) and compare it with its 1977 film adaptation.
