Submit your lab report for Module 5, Cricket Respiration Investigations, using the class Lab Report format:
Lab Reports:
Formatting: Each lab report should include a title page with: header, page number, title, student name, and the name of the institution. Lab reports should be written in 12-point Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins. This is a formal report, so each component should be written in complete sentences and should reflect an appropriate level of professionalism and effort.
——-
Pre-lab Discussion: At the beginning of each class, your group will discuss and answer a few questions in order to prepare for the lab. In your lab report you should write both the questions and your answers.
Pre-lab Hypothesis: Before starting each lab, you will be presented with a guiding question. As a group, you will develop a hypothesis to attempt to answer the question. (Your claim)
Conclusion: Your conclusion section will be the longest section of your lab report. Expect to write about two to three paragraphs per report. In this section you should include:
An introduction to the guiding question and your claim and a description of the experimental design.
The data that you collected as it pertains to the guiding question. This data should be collected by each student and is usually organized into a data table.
An analysis of the data (What is your evidence? Does it support your hypothesis or refute your hypothesis? Explain your evidence with a graph or picture.)
Bring together the information that you gained during class discussions, readings, etc. to provide the reasoning in support of any claim that you make in your conclusion.
