Stephen Covey, the author of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, states: “Strength lies in differences, not in similarities.”
American Writer Andre Lorde states: “It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.”

Discuss an experience you have had regarding encountering a culture unfamiliar to you. Write about this experience, so that a reader can connect with your writing. It can be as simple as a conversation you once had with someone of a different cultural background, or an experience you had while traveling.
