Terman noted that these children were above average in height, physical attractiveness, and weight. They also were socially balanced and, in some cases, skilled leaders. Finally, emotional intelligence, often recognized as EQ or EI, is the ability to manage one’s own emotions to clear the way for clear thinking and working on goals and be aware of it. Even though emotional intelligence may be confused with having high self-esteem, it truly means that an individual can have self-control of all emotions, including anxiety and anxiety. Giftedness is the opposite of intellectual disabilities. These are individuals with a high IQ and are usually referred to as geniuses. Their IQs are on the upper end of the normal curve, 130 and above. Gifted children have advanced abilities in one or more specific areas. Studies have shown that gifted children grow to be successful adults.
Emotional intelligence is also known as EQ or, emotional quotient. It is the ability to identify your emotion and the emotions of others. It is being able to manage your emotions is a positive way to relieve stress and to be able to communicate effectively. Some tools to measure emotional intelligence have been developed online with various models, but they should be used with caution. Emotional intelligence is one of the most important skills a leader should have. For example, people who work in the healthcare field should have a high EQ. They need to be able to keep their emotions under control and be able to identify the emotions of the patients and their family members. Being able to also keep in control when faced with a crisis and keeping stress levels low while being aware and considering people’s feelings. Emotional intelligence can be associated with several characteristics such as Self-awareness, empathy, and self-control.
