” In a systematic review, Sweeney et al. (2019) concluded that “the challenges of leadership may vary in different organizational contexts.” As a result, the insights derived from the scholarly articles reviewed are that leaders must conclude that flexibility in the choice of leadership style is dependent upon the setting. According to Broome & Marshall (2021, p. 10 -11), the skill of leadership is comprised of multiple things such as having a particular style, having leadership attributes such as physical vitality…stamina…action-oriented, possess a range of eight successful habits (proactive, remaining focused, having an attitude of winning), possess attributes such as being trustworthy…compassionate…reliable, and possess leadership competencies (professional, being business-like, & knowledgeable). The research concluded that the five strengths of a good leader were: integrity, leadership, good judgment, trustworthiness, and teamwork (Gayton & Kehoe, 2019). The styles describe a leader 1)- who gives direction by telling others what to do, 2)-who allows learning while they merely coach/augment the experience, 3)- who participates and shares decision-making with others, and 4)- one who delegates responsibilities to others.
