To do this, you will select and research a well-known leader to learn about how the leader employs(ed) Robert Greenleaf′s principles of servant leadership to order to influence, motivate and lead others. Select the leader that you find most meaningful to research and write about. (ABRAHAM LINCOLN) Proper citations from the textbook and/or other resources (as needed) are required to be used. The following sections should be included in your paper: 1) Section 1: A brief desсrіption of the servant-leader. This includes brief bio information about the leader and a general overview. Section 1 should be no longer than 1-2 pages with proper citations from other resources (articles, books, articles, etc), when appropriate. Do not spend a lot time digging up this information. Simply introduce the leader you are writing about. 2) Section 2: Describe why you consider your selection be an servant-leader leader. Do this by summarizing the principles of servant leadership employed by the leader using specific examples. Be sure to include any unique information about their leadership style. Has the servant leadership style been successful for your leader? How do you know? Use what you learned from the course and connect the leader to the course concepts. At least five main concepts from the course concepts must be included (e.g. 10 characteristics of a servant leader, pillar III, etc.). Proper citations are required. Section 2 should be approximately 2-4 pages. 3) Section 3: What did you learn about servant-leadership from doing this essay? What would you seek to emulate when you are in a leadership position? Include references to your readings in the text citing page numbers as it relates to your essay. Section 3 should be approximately 1-2 pages. Limit your response to 4-6 pages (1000-1500 word), double spaced, use Times New Roman, font size 12, and submit your assignment below. Link your reactions to the text citing the referenced page or use other references to support your points. Of course, papers should be organized, thorough, with proper sentence structure and grammar.
