For your Course Project this semester you will write a five-page summary in which you must
detail the current criminal justice system in a country other than the U. S. OR the six model
nations used throughout this text (p. 65). Do diligent research ahead of selecting a topic because
it will be extremely difficult to change course once you have begun. Make sure there is sufficient
information available from researching your proposed country before you confirm your choice.
When you have researched your selected country, prepare a well-organized paper that covers
each of the topics used in the text format (See Chapter 4):
A. Historical Development (of the Criminal Justice System in that country)
B. Crimes
C. Criminal Law
D. The Criminal Justice System
E. Comparison and contrast with the United States AND one (1) other of the Model Countries
studied in this text
You are required to write your paper in the current APA format and ensure you adhere to one
page (1 “ margins, 12-point Times Roman font, double spacing with no extra space between
paragraphs) on each of the five topic areas listed above.
Cite all sources used in a bibliography at the end of the paper, do not use unverified sources such
as Wikipedia. If you are unsure of the suitability of a source, do not use it.
