Use good grammar and sentence structure in your writing. Simply stating that you agree or disagree with another does not meet the assignment requirement. Excellent posts will include concepts and/or terminology from the course. They expand the discussion in a new way, offer support with additional illustration from your viewpoint, ask a probing question, provide a counter argument that is illuminating, etc. Remember that respect, civility and common courtesy characterize our discussions in this course.

In your first post, answer two questions: 1) What are some reasons that you think ethical lapses occur in the workplace? 2) Identify an example of an ethical lapse from the news or your own workplace (keeping names confidential) and discuss why the matter was unethical, giving enough detail so that someone unfamiliar can understand the key points.
2) In your second post, respond to the comments of one other classmate. In your response, discuss what you think may be additional impact or fallout of the ethical lapse internally or externally (e.g. co-workers, clients, suppliers, community, future employees, legislators, advertisers, etc.).
