For the State Research Project, you are to select a topic that is of interest to you and create an exhaustive literature review that both synthesizes the body of scholarly work on your topic and creates a narrative of how that body of literature has evolved over time.
In order to determine if your chosen topic is suitable for this assignment, please submit a paper proposal by 23:59 (Central Time) on Sunday of Week 2. This assignment is a Complete/Incomplete grade. You will need to receive a “Complete” on this assignment in order to move forward with your topic.
Identify a state government or state policy topic that has received scholarly examination and for which a sizable literature exists. Also, your proposal should explain why you find the topic interesting.
If you happen to receive an “Incomplete” grade, please review the comments made by the professor, revise, and resubmit your proposal. This process will continue until you receive a “Complete” grade.
