2.Read the criticism of the poem by Holder
3. Construct a strong thesis statement before writing the essay
THESIS SHOULD NOT MENTION HUMAN KIND, GOD, CHRISTIANITY, THE DEAD
THESIS SHOULD MENTION THE COMEDY AND IRONY OF THE POEM.
4. Use your own voice, write majority of the essay with ” I think ” or just use the word ” I ” in general if not referencing from the poem or criticism
5. Always use “According to Holder” from the criticism when supporting the essay
6. Construct strong and valid arguments, use both the poem and criticism to support.
7. Quote the poem as much as possible, at least two quotes per page.
8. 12 point font / 5 pages
9. Refer to the sample essay provided, the written essay should be constructed the same way as the sample.
