We’re going to do something a little bit different for our discussions throughout the course. You will be describing an individual’s life from birth to death. This will be your same human for the entire course. You will compile this information at the end for an assignment submission, so I recommend keeping your submissions saved in a word document for ease of access.
To assist with this process, guiding questions will be shared each week. You do not need to attempt to answer each question. Rather, they should help you as you think about what to include in the section and reflect on course material that could be integrated. You must use in-text citations from our textbook to support your work. Please aim for about 300 words in your main post, and about 150 words in your peer responses.
Main posts are due Wednesday night and peer responses are due Friday night.

Where does the baby spend their day: with you, at home with a parental caregiver, at home with a non-parental caregiver, at a caregiver’s home, at a childcare center?
When did you introduce solid foods? What kinds of solid foods is the baby eating?
What kinds of toys are available in your home for the baby?
How frequently does your baby watch/listen to TV or interact with “baby apps”?
What were your baby’s first words?
What is your toddler’s attachment? How does this play a role in your parenting actions?
Where does the toddler spend his/her day: with you, at home with a parental caregiver, at home with a non-parental caregiver, at a caregiver’s home, at a childcare center?
Where does your toddler sleep?
What kinds of toys are available in your home for the toddler?
How frequently does your toddler watch/listen to TV or interact with “baby apps”?
Do you promote gender-specific behaviors or gender-neutral behaviors? How?
What are some skills you are most proud of that your baby can do?
How has your baby been impacted by your family structure or other information in your birth prompt?
