Analyze some aspect of the “Veto Message Regarding the
Bank of the U.S.” Begin with a paragraph discussing the historical
background, In the body of the paper, you could discuss one or two of Jackson’s
arguments against the Bank, how he tried to persuade his audience, why he
thought the bank was unconstitutional, etc. Make sure to cite evidence from the
source to support any conclusions that you state. Papers without any citations
will receive a failing grade. Review the instructions from the syllabus before

the end of the sentence. For the textbook, give the author’s last name and the
page number (Corbett 78) and for a primary source document, give the author’s
last name (if you know it) and a short version of the title, like this (Jackson
Veto Message). When you analyze the U.S. Constitution, give the title, the
article, and the section if citing the main body, or give the title and the
amendment if citing something from the Bill of Rights, like this (U.S.
Constitution Article 2 Section 3) or (U.S. Constitution Amendment 3). Also, you
are required to cite the textbook to provide historical context and to cite the
document that you are analyzing. I must see citations from both the textbook
and the document! Do not use outside material. (No citations or not following
this format for citations will result in a 2-point penalty, at least)
