Positive perceptions include officer behavior that values duty, dedication, and service to others.
Locate a recent (2018-present) news article that contributes to NEGATIVE perceptions officers. Summarize the article and offer your opinion. Cite the URL of the article.
Then, describe an encounter you personally have had with a police officer that gave you a POSITIVE perception of officers. If you do not have one, locate and summarize of any article or event that left you with a positive perception of police officers.
Research police community programs and report on one that is successful. This can include any crime prevention or community relations event. Explain the program and why it is successful. Cite your source.
