TECHNOLOGY STANDARDS INFOGRAPHIC ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Teaching with technology is a skill. As instructors, we need to be aware of various standards and guidelines that will help us to develop this skill. Three key publications we can use are: the ISTE Standards, UDL Guidelines, and TPCK framework. The purpose of this assignment is to encourage you to investigate each of these publications and understand their general objective, contribution to education, and practical use in the classroom.
To complete this assignment, you will:
Build an Infographic designed to explain three publications that direct the use of technology in the classroom today: ISTE, UDL, and TPCK. Remember: this is an infographic–be brief in word count but descriptive.
Include the following:
1. An overview for each publication: current copyright year, intended audience, and
summary of content
2. An explanation of why they were published (purpose),
3. An explanation of how they contribute to education.
4. Three examples (one for each) to demonstrate how these publications enhance the learning process of today’s students and/or help teachers build a technology rich lesson.
Select a template that will allow you to create a visually appealing Infographic, organize the
content, and reference sources. Please use the APA format in citations.
Create a shareable link to your infographic (without privacy blocks so the Instructor may view it)
and submit to the course.
