The essay shall be no longer than 1500 words, footnotes included. Papers shorter than 1200
words are not encouraged. Essays will be judged on content, creativity, and language quality.
All essays submitted should conform to the following rules as to content, length, and style:
1. The essay should begin with a cover page including the essay’s title, word count,
participants’ name, rank and badge number, and team name.
2. The essay must be of no more than 1,500 words (excluding figures and
references).
3. The essay should be in Word (or equivalent) or PDF format.
4. References should be included at the end of the essay in any desired reference
style, which must be consistent throughout the submission.
5. All essays must be typed using Times New Roman font size 12. No handwritten
6. essays will be accepted.

This essay is based on a topical issue in the Bahamas. I would like to take the stance that there no such thing as marital rape.
Amidst the controversy the former speaker of the house stated that laws change but the Bible doesn’t.
Please do due diligence in writing and citing supporting that there is no such thing as marital rape.
