Describe at least 2 theatrical elements from the play that the playwright/creator used in telling their story, and how these choices affected the way you (as audience/reader) experienced the play. The point is to practice thinking about a play and how it works. Think about the theatrical experience that the play created for you. How was this affected by the theatrical choices that the playwright made? Be specific. How did the playwright use dialogue, rhythm, sound, language? How did they evoke the theatrical world, the setting, mood or movement? How did they use time, and how did they structure the play? What is the relationship between the characters or the world of the play and the audience? What effects do these (and any other) choices create in you, the reader/audience? How do those choices affect the storytelling? This is not so much about expressing your opinion on what you liked or didn’t. Keep your focus on the theatrical choices and how they function, not on describing the plot.
