You and an experienced (RN) have been allocated to 8 patients. The RN, who is the team leader, has voiced her displeasure at having a “Junior”, and that she will probably end up doing all the work. The RN decides that she will do all the medications and you are to begin with vital signs. After 45mins one of the patient calls you to inform you that they are still waiting for their insulin medication and their breakfast is getting cold. You approach the RN who tells you “I’m busy”.
