“Joining the Military Doesn’t Make You a Hero,” Kinzer. (p. 347-350).
“Trigger Happy,” Jarvie. (p. 358-362).
In a response of 600 words respond to the following:
– What characteristics constitute a good claim? Provide three original examples of “good claims” that you find interesting in pursuing and briefly (in a sentence or two) state why it interests you.
– Which two essays from the readings intrigued you the most, either by agreeing with them or being opposed to them? Explain how you agree/disagree with the writer and how you can or cannot relate to the context.
