A term paper is required for this course.
Your term paper will be a five (5) to six (6) page research document on any topic related to U.S. History from the beginning of the Columbian Era through Reconstruction.
Your paper must be in APA format, 12-point, Times New Roman, double-spaced, and should include no fewer than five (5) cited sources.
The five to six pages do not include your cover page, abstract, and reference page—all of which are required.
Oral presentations are not required. However, students who present their term paper topics to the class will receive extra credit.
IMPORTANT: Term papers must be written in your own words. Copying and pasting is not acceptable. Also, submissions via Google links or any other similar methods will NOT be accepted. Your term papers must be Word documents submitted to SafeAssign.
