Write your Communications Management Plan
Students that have successfully completed CIS 663 will only need to update their previous communication management plan to reflect the virtual team, new stakeholders, global business environment, and new project information. Information provided about ASDG Inc. as a company in the communication plan may only need minor updating. Project stockholders, clients, and key decision makers have changed due to the new project scope.
Students that have not completed CIS 663 will be required to follow all of the task directions and fulfill the written assignment expectations. The communication management plan template will be used to fulfill different parts of the weekly individual assignment expectations.
In your examination of the stakeholder analysis and communication risk factors with the virtual team and vendors, you realize the level of complexity in the communication channels that exist in this global project. There are many different layers of communication channels, frequency, privacy, regulations, and preference that you and your virtual team must consider. There is a lot more communication red type (obstacles) than your previous project.
In your virtual communication management plan template, complete Communication System, in section 3 under Communication Vehicles on page 5.
Afterward, transfer all of the risk factors that were covered in your discussion board assignment this week into the communication risk section on page 6 (3.2.4: Communication Risk).
