You might not consider yourself to be a “politics” person, but everyone has many political issues that bother them, whether you realize it or not. A political issue can range from voter suppression to food safety.
To learn more about your political issue you will be researching your topic as a scholar, using sources and methods used in academic research. In other words, you will NOT be using Google search or Wikipedia to research your political issue. You will practice elevating your research skills.
In this learning activity, you will:
Choose a political issue that you want to research as a scholar.
Find and evaluate 4 peer-reviewed and reputable news media articles on your political issue.
Document your research process in research log that you will submit to me.
Write up and submit an APA bibliography of the 4 sources you think are the most relevant to your political issue.
