Write a paper on the Greek philosophers, platos republic. The class’ structure is based on Platos republic and Greek philosophers. The main idea of this paper is to support or go against a philosophical view or argument that one of the following philosophers have made: Plato, Socrates, Augustine, descartes, or James. Essentially, this contentious claim should be a claim to the effect that this philosopher is either correct or incorrect where their view or argument is concerned (that is, their view is true or false, or their argument is good or bad). For example: “Descartes’s argument for the claim that mind is distinct from body fails,” or “Plato has a strong case against democracy in both its ancient and modern forms.” We have been using the book Platos Republic. You can draw information from the book or separate sources, but using information from the book at least a little bit would help. The paper is structured from 3 prior assignments where we come up with a thesis that supports or argues a philosopher’s claim, argue and defend that thesis, and then combat and find objections to that thesis. I will send these assignment under the file tab, however you DO NOT need to compete these assignments, I am just sending them as a reference so you can understand the idea of the paper. For this assignment, combine and elaborate upon the results of your work on the previous three assignments (thesis, argument, objections) so as to produce a four to five page, thesis-driven paper. The paper should be in a sensible point and font (such as 12 point Times New Roman), double-spaced, and on numbered pages (beginning on the second page with the number 2). It should include an introductory paragraph in which the thesis statement occurs at or towards the end. It should also include a conclusion paragraph that serves to sum up what the paper has accomplished. There is no need for a work cited page unless you use sources other than our textbooks. If you do use such sources (though you are not required to do so), use some one citation style, such as APA. If you only rely on our textbooks and you either quote or paraphrase those books, simply give the page number of the source book in parentheses at the end of your sentence. Please do not include a title page. Rather, place the title at the top of the main body of the text
