Write a paper on sustainability in the fashion industry (specifically Zara)I am doing a business presentation about sustainability in Zara. For this specific assignment, it is needed to write about the external communications of Zara, more specifically about their use of social media. For some background information. Zara’s use of social media isn’t the best when it comes to creating a meaningful bond between them and their customers as well as utilizing their different platforms and different ways depending on their audience. For the structure of this part, it would be great for it to start off by introducing their current approach of using social media and how disconnected they are from their customers. It would then be followed by a part comparing Zara’s bad approach to other fashion companies who seem to be using social media and interacting with their customers the “right way” ( eg: Garage have created a # on Instagram which clients can use to post pictures of themselves wearing their products that they repost on their Instagram page). Finally, the last part would be about introducing different ways Zara could better their engagement and possibly build an even bigger community and attract new customers.
