For the policy paper you should focus on any public health ‘policy’ or issue of your choice. You can take your idea from the readings we’ve done and things you wrote about during the assignments. In addition, in the powerpoints we covered some things and spoke a number of times about health and social policies or issues that you can chose to write about. You can also think of something you believe SHOULD be a policy that’s not a policy now or you can think of a policy that should NOT be in practice to improve health outcomes. You can make an argument for why you think it should or should not be a policy. How is would benefit society and build off of all the things from previous write-ups and slides. As a reminder – the slides entitled In Sickness and in Wealth gives some policy ideas. Please take another look at the “Policy Paper Format”.
