Write a Legal and Ethical Issues in Cybersecurity Research Paper
The goals of this assignment are for you to:
• Recognize your professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles
• Become more knowledgeable about finding and using varied research sources in your major.
• Further develop your critical thinking skills and back up your points with evidence.
• Compose a well organized, clear, research paper to expand your knowledge on a subject in your major.
This paper should be based on scholarly sources in print or in electronic scholarly journals. I will not accept papers with only material as resources that are not from scholarly publications.
Topic: Your research paper project begins by selecting a general area of security related to our class topics that interests you. Research legal issues and ethical questions that pertain to some current issue(s) related to your general topic. Key focus of the paper is addressing how legal and professional ethics apply to a professional working in this area of cybersecurity. Aspects could cover guidelines for what is acceptable, safety measures that need to be in place, and/or applicable related privacy issues. Your paper should cover how these issues relate to the area in general, but also as you are going to be developing a final project in this area what precautions and/or considerations you need to be aware of working on your project (if applicable).
