For this week’s discussion, take a look at the theories of Erikson, Freud, Piaget, Vygotsky, Skinner, Bandura, Rogers, and Maslow as they apply to infancy and development. During your discussion post tell us something about each of those theorist first stage of development. Be sure to identify the theorist and the stage before stating your comment about their stage of development. Then in the last paragraph discuss factors that indicate a high quality infant environment. If you were the owner or operator of one of those high quality infant environments, what factors would you use to sell your program as the one that the parent should use that would be fit the needs of their infant? Remember, we can not discriminate, so what if the child has been identified as being special needs? What interventions would you put in place to assist that child?
