To what extent do socio-economic factors influence the nitrogen content of China’s Yangtze River. This is an IB Internal Assessment for ESS (environmental systems and societies at standard level) utilizing secondary sources. The abstract has been started but not finished: “River basins have been modified extensively by human activities over the last half-century, causing severe ecological degradation. This internal assessment uses China’s Yangtze River as a comparative study with the objective to delineate the contribution of human activities towards nitrogen input in the river basin.”
