In order to learn about a variety of leadership styles and to compare them to your own, you need to do the following:
Observe TWO human service meetings (face to face OR by observation of meetings online).
Meetings should be a minimum of 1 hour in length
The type of meeting that you are to observe maybe: Advisory Board, Staff, Project planning, Emergency, Strategic Planning, Task Force, Leadership
F2F meeting Note: You are not to participate in the meeting. You are only to observe this meeting and this observation should primarily focus on the role of the leader.

Written Report: The written report should include the following information:
Part I – a SWOT analysis regarding your observation.
Part II – Write a 5 page reflective summary in APA FORMAT which includes the following information
Perceptions of the leadership style exhibited in the meetings, specifically addressing the flow of the agenda including the format and content, reaction of participants.
Which theory(s) of leadership did you observe in the meetings which you may have discussed in this class or in previous classes at Judson University?
Discuss the style of leadership observed – how does it compare to your own leadership style?
Address what you have learned about the task of leading a meeting from observing this meeting.
What are two strategies will consider using when conducting a meeting based on what was observed?
