Please provide evidence for all of your positions; valid arguments are always grounded in evidence. Discussion comments should reflect knowledge of the reading as well as a growing understanding of Domestic Violence issues.
Some suggestions for stronger response to other students’ posts: bring in a new example, point to something in the reading, or take the discussion in a new direction, using the original post as a taking-off point, and use vivid, specific language to explain WHY you believe what you do.
Clarity is essential to written communication. While posts are not formal essays, they are coursework and not text messages. Posts should be written in Standard English and display correct spelling and grammar. Take the time to proofread your posts before you submit them to ensure that they say what you mean them to say. Posts that are difficult to understand due to poor writing mechanics will lose points.
