This is a two part project where the students will choose 3 different pieces of Indigenous art from at least three different genres (poetry, fiction writing, visual art, performance art, music, graphic novels) and interrogate the political messages behind the art. accompanied by a short 6 page paper. It is expected that the student will share information about the artists, the messages found, the context of those political messages and their overall understanding of the contribution these pieces make to the Indigenous resurgence movement.
