The main objective of this project is to research the topics of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development and to integrate them into a document that utilizes Kuwait and the Arab World as the main context. The students will be evaluated on – How well you can identify CSR practices. – How well they can articulate the importance of these practices to society, the economy, and the environment. – How well they cover the environmental, economic, social, political, and cultural factors that contribute to a sustainable society and the creation of a sustainable future with a focus on Kuwait. – Pointing out the main difficulties that face Kuwaiti organizations as they strive towards being socially responsible and developmentally sustainable. – The relevance of their suggestions and recommendations on how to conquer those difficulties. Report Format – 12 pages maximum (number your pages), double-spaced, Times New Roman 12 font, excluding references and figures/tables. You will need to find and use at least 5 external academic sources in addition to any other sources that you might find helpful (local news and media, interviews, etc.). I will upload 2 freely available chapters to give you a good overall idea about the topic. Remember, this topic will not be covered in the form of a separate chapter. It is a chance to show your ability to gather, synthesize, and present knowledge.
