udaism, Christianity, and Islam are all considered monotheistic religions and, as such, have much in common. However, each religion is nevertheless distinct from the others. Focusing only on the theological idea of monotheism, compare and contrast what is similar between these religions and what is distinct. The best papers will incorporate the various aspects of monotheism discussed here (what each religion tends to emphasize about the oneness of God, how God is/is not understand as being transcendent yet present, etc.).
