Research funded by the Health Research looked at the viral load and infectivity over the course of an infection with the Sars covid – 19 virus. This comprehensive systematic study, done in December 2019 to May 2020, by Pub Med.gov focused on primary data on 117 studies covering 17 countries, This study looked at the detection method and viral loads of the covid-19 virus over the various phases – asymptomatic, pre-symptomatic and symptomatic – and the length of time of infectivity. No study was discovered that accurately estimated the infectivity period, nonetheless, virus-positive persons may not be infectious for the whole period of being positive since the presence of viral ribonucleic acid may not address the question of contagious live infection.Reference Walsh, K.
