Vocabulary development is a key factor when planning for edTPA. Think about the following: What strategies do you regularly use to support children’s oral language acquisition and vocabulary development? How do we integrate early reading skills (phonemic awareness, alphabet awareness activities, etc.) into daily routines? What explicit strategies can we use to develop children’s understanding of the purpose of writing as well as the forms of writing?
