Hello, I have attached 2 reading materials, 1 Sample PowerPoint Presentation (which you should follow) and 5 essays from my class, which will help you to understand the course to prepare the PowerPoint Presentation.
Here is the instruction for the presentation;
In this course, you have learned about a variety of emerging technologies that have the potential to add value. Some of them have the potential to be deployed in your organization for competitive differentiation or for improvements to operational efficiency. The Final Project is an opportunity to start the process of creating value in a tangible and measurable way as a culmination of your learning experience in this course. It requires you to identify a real business problem or opportunity, analyze it, and recommend a new or emerging IT initiative for investment while applying relevant concepts and frameworks from our course. Your goal is to develop an early-stage, convincing business case to convince your team or organization to investigate and possibly invest in a new IT area.
Details (This is not NYU project)
In the last six weeks, you have gained working knowledge of a variety of new/emerging information technologies with potential to add value to many business areas. For example, we have looked at early emerging technologies from Gartner Hype Cycle(s), as well as in trending technology areas we discussed in our weekly modules (AI, Big Data, etc.). In this final project, you will:
• Identify a problem area or a business opportunity in the organization you work for
o You may also use a company you admire or would like to target for a job opportunity if this is not possible
• Propose a new IT solution to solve the problem or leverage the business opportunity
• Develop an early-stage high-level business case for executive team review and approval
o The early-stage case will not likely have many quantified estimates, and you will not be able to calculate a ROI. However, it is still critical to strive to identify all significant benefit areas and cost areas (with ballpark estimates whenever possible).
