Mexican-American Movie Analysis
The movie or television series needs to depict any historical era covered in the course (1850s- 21st century). Make sure to check with me about the film before you begin. I have attached an article as an example of film analysis.
Write an essay answering the following questions:
1. Explain the plot of the film.
2. What historical era is being depicted? Are there any historical inaccuracies in the film?
3. Do the characters of the film represent real historical persons or fictional characters?
4. What new insights about this period in history did you gain from this film?
5. Connect the film to what you are learning in our course.
