Discuss the role of insurance (or lack of insurance or public support), Medicare, or Medicaid with your selected vulnerable population.
Consider the following questions:
What (if any) type of healthcare coverage does your vulnerable population typically have?
What are the barriers your vulnerable population faces in regard to obtaining healthcare from a financial viewpoint?
What steps have been taken by the private and/or public sector to overcome these barriers and insure adequate healthcare for your vulnerable population?
What are the current or potential health implications your selected population faces as a result of their insurance (or lack of) and the effect this has on access to healthcare?
Write an APA paper addressing the above questions as they relate to your vulnerable population. Include a separate reference page. You will submit a two-page paper by Jan 31st.
