The product you can select can range anywhere from the particular toothbrush you use to your grandmother’s hair salon. How has the market demand changed for this product? How have supply chains been developed? What are some quality improvements since its inception? What incentives have caused these improvements? What are some particularly important institutions (rules of the game) that have allowed this product to flourish in the open market?
