Discussion 2: Mechanics of Writing
This course is designed to help you develop your Capstone Paper and Oral Presentation. You pick a topic, draft a Thesis Statement, Paper Outline, References, Paper Introduction, and then submit a Draft of your Capstone Paper. Reflecting on that, compose a well-written discussion post to the following six (6) questions and number your responses.
1. Do you think that the order of assignments in this class is beneficial to you while writing your paper? Explain your answer.
2. What assignments/steps do you believe will be most beneficial and least beneficial to you while writing your paper?
3. What step do you believe is least helpful?
4. If you could create four (4) assignments for this class to help someone write this paper, what would be your four (4) steps (a Draft Paper should not be one of the steps)
5. Before this class, did you have a process to writing a research paper? Explain your answer.
6. What steps will you take to assist you with your Oral Presentation?
