Stage 1: Statement of Problem
Drawing on Chapter 1:
Come up with a topic of your interest, a concern, or a social problem which has preoccupied you. That could be a topic of your previous research. Write a one page or more “statement of problem”. Describe and elaborate on the topic and how it has come to your mind. Formulate a research question that could be empirically studied and measured. You might also come up with more that one research question. Describe how do you want to study this subject, what type of research method does it require. Be as detailed and articulate as possible. Use your own words and avoid using complicated language.
