The reflection questions exercise is designed to provide you with the opportunity to focus on your life, experience and perception of multicultural ministry. Drawing on your experience, worldview, and perception answer the FIVE questions provided.
Instructions
1. Create a Word document for the reflection questions exercise. At this point, there is no right or wrong answer. Even though the correctness of your answers will not be graded, the assignment should be taken seriously. A grade will be assigned based on the following criteria:
o Use of proper grammar, spelling, etc.
o Seriousness of response
o Record both questions and answers. Double space between the question and beginning of answer and between end of answer and next question.
2. Respond to the following questions:
o Read Incarnational Ministry pages 182-183 (Chapter 5) Cultural Disintegration and write 5-7 sentences or 5-7 bullet points of your thoughts as you reflect on the reading.
o Read Acts Chapter 2 and describe your thoughts of what this passage meant in the context of the early church and how this text relates to the present work of the church.
o Describe your thoughts regarding ways that immigration, culturally-diverse communities and multi-cultural ministry provide the opportunity to reach unreached people groups with the gospel message.
o Define the term culture by citing 3 definitions and presenting your own perspective.
