Read the brief article and click on the map at the beginning of the article. You will notice that each map shows where every person in a particular town/county(ies) lives, broken down by race/ethnicity. Select two of the maps and discuss what patterns you see.
1. Spend about 1 double-spaced page answering the following: Do people of different races/ethnicities live in the same places? If not, what trends do you see regarding race/ethnicity? Are the trends the same or different for the two maps you selected? Are you surprised by the trends that you see?
2. Spend about 1 double-spaced page answering the following: Is the community where you live racially segregated? What effects, if any, does segregation by race/ethnicity have on communities in New Jersey?
