Do an Internal analysis (resources, capabilities and core competencies) What are the current strategies or strategic responses from the firm o Gap Analysis: Evaluate these strategies / strategic responses of the firm in terms of which would be sustainable in this changing environment (based on your external analysis) What might affect their choice of positioning Does the way in which the entity organized have any bearings ? How ‘responsible is the organisation? What is the organisation’s relationship with stakeholders? IV. Provide alternate solutions (obviously there can always be more than one solution / decision option) to the issue at hand a. Present the solution you have chosen and the r rationale for recommending this one among the other options. b. Suggest actions and strategies (on each issue), which you feel would enable the organisation to improve its business performance and/or market position. Was it functional issues that was missed out ? could it be organisation form issue – structure ?
