The Source Analysis is an opportunity for you to look beyond the textbook and examine primary source material. Your assignment is to choose one of the assigned primary sources, analyze the document, and consider it within its historical context. Write a short essay on the document considering the following questions: Whomis the document created by, for, and about? What issues does the document address and how does it fit within its historical context? When and where was it written? Why is it significant? Each essay should be 5pages, typed in a reasonable 12-point font, double-spaced, and have one-inch margins around. There should be an organized structure to the piece with an introduction, thesis, and conclusion. Include a cover page with the following information: source title and author, your name, my name, course number, class number, and the date the assignment is submitted.
