Well for starters, mixing chocolate with raisins WHY!? Chocolate is supposed to be this luscious dark (sometimes white) treat that melts in your mouth. Why add it with raisins, which have a wrinkly texture and are chewy? It really annoys me when something gooey but firm interrupts me bitting into the chocolate.

On a side note, putting them into baked goods like cookies and muffins is misleading. That has to be the worst part. They lead you to believe that you’re about to take a nice chocolaty bite but the deception strikes back as your mouth fills with this weird sour gooey mess.

They are dry with a wrinkly texture but hard. So it’s chewy. But also has a weird sweet taste that isn’t incredible like dark chocolate might be, or refreshing sweet like fruit is. It’s just this awful mediocre sweet that’s indescribably mildly grapey.
