One of the recurring themes of this course has been the “what if” equation, that is, what if a particular key event in world history since 1945 had turned out differently? What would the consequences have possibly or likely been?
In this essay, select TWO events in the history of the world that could have gone the so called “other way”, and then speculate or theorize as to what the different long term consequences would have been with respect to global history.
